Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026. Applies to the DocPasser app and website. This is a plain-language summary; have it reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it commercially.

The short version

DocPasser keeps your revision on your own device and syncs it to your account so you can carry on from another one. We show no ads, use no third-party trackers or analytics, and never sell your data. We do not collect health or clinical data.

What we collect

• Your account email and a password, stored only as a salted hash, so you can sign in.
• Your revision activity — answers, bookmarks, flags, your own notes and the spaced-repetition schedule — which is what makes the app work and follow you across devices.
• Which exams you have bought, so we can unlock them for you.
• When you pay, the payment is handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card number.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no ad identifiers.
• No analytics or behavioural tracking.
• No selling, renting or sharing of your personal data.
• No health, medical or clinical data collected about you.

Where your data lives

Your revision is stored in your browser on your device and synced to your account. Payments are processed by Stripe under their own privacy terms. We use reasonable measures to protect data in transit and at rest.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your personal data. Delete your account and your data is removed. To make a request, email info@docpasser.com.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account exists and delete it when you close the account. Records kept for fraud prevention or licence enforcement are held only as long as needed and then deleted.

Children

DocPasser is made for doctors and medical students preparing for licensing exams. It is not directed at children.
